The laboratory sits in Gosselies, Belgium, and holds a Belgian Biobank License, storing PBMC samples from more than 1,300 healthy donors with 4-digit HLA typing so that assay panels reflect diverse global populations. Immunogenicity risk assessment pairs in silico prediction with in vitro readouts, using T-cell activation and proliferation as a surrogate marker for anti-drug antibody induction, plus cytokine release assays and MHC-associated peptide proteomics (MAPPS) to establish which peptides are actually presented. Functional screening extends into immuno-oncology and cell and gene therapy, and the team has worked with oncolytic molecules, monoclonal and bispecific antibodies, newer antibody formats, small molecules and generic peptides. Consultative services round out the offering: protocol review and optimization, immunology courses, and hands-on training in PBMC isolation and cryopreservation from whole blood. Programs are supported from discovery through pre-IND and exploratory clinical stages. The team now operates as the In Vitro Immunology group within IQVIA Laboratories.
