Data is packaged by modality rather than sold as a single bundle: clinical records, genetic data, biosamples, medical imaging, physiological waveforms, curated disease cohorts and advanced analyses, with bespoke projects assembled around a specific research question. The largest undertaking is the Alliance for Genomic Discovery, launched with Illumina in January 2023 and now involving AbbVie, Alnylam, Amgen, AstraZeneca, Bayer, Bristol Myers Squibb, GSK, Merck, Novo Nordisk and the Regeneron Genetics Center. By March 2025 the alliance had completed whole-genome sequencing on 250,000 samples, having reached its first 100,000 genomes in under two years using deCODE genetics, the Illumina DRAGEN pipeline and Connected Analytics. Ancestral diversity was prioritised in sample selection and linked to longitudinal clinical phenotypes, and members report novel targets already identified and validated in autoimmune and neurodegenerative disease.
