Virtual screening and fragment-based screening methods, including Weak Affinity Chromatography (WAC), are efficient and informed methods for hit identification. However, advancing drug discovery programs beyond the initial screening hits remains a challenge. Employing workflows that fully leverage available data maximize the chances of success and can uncover new opportunities.
In this webinar, Dr. Björn Borgström will share real-world examples of how innovative and resource-efficient workflows have been used by the Drug Discovery Team at RG Discovery to overcome challenges and accelerate project progression. Through case studies, attendees will gain practical insights into decision-making processes that enable rapid and cost-effective advancement of drug discovery programs.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Creative and pragmatic approaches to kickstart projects in early-stage drug discovery programs.
- Strategies for efficient hit identification, illustrated through case studies targeting CDK9 and SMARCA4.
- How CETSA-based selectivity profiling can reveal potential liabilities and identify opportunities early in a project.
