Operations date to 2003 and are anchored by a tissue bank at the South San Francisco headquarters, fed by more than 150 validated clinical sites in roughly 20 countries and projects for some 700 clients. Four businesses make up Cureline Group: Cureline, Inc for procurement, Cureline Biopathology for translational histopathology, Cureline Molecular for analytical studies, and BioCrypton for glycoproteomics and biomarker discovery. Available material covers FFPE blocks, fresh frozen tissue, normal control tissue from healthy donors, primary human hepatocytes, blood and bone marrow mononuclear cells, matching tumor tissue sets and treatment-specific serum and plasma, across solid tumor oncology, hematologic malignancies, and inflammatory, neurological and infectious disease. Laboratory work extends to tissue microarrays, digital pathology and IHC-based target validation. Cureline took part in two NIH consortia, TCGA and CPTAC, and is now joining forces with ABS Bio.
