As you know, we founded Scientist based on our belief that we must tap into the enormous amount of latent scientific talent all around us in order to solve the many problems we face. This philosophy guides everything we do - from our ongoing support of a free public website anyone can use, to the creation of our popular Open Science and Be HEARD research competitions, to our support of the shared community lab Bio, Tech and Beyond. But elevating the public’s consciousness about scientific issues, let alone making people passionate about science, is challenging.
